Ok as much as I try to keep this up - I just can't find the time (or maybe desire) to do so. I love reading other blogs and can write but in the scheme of life - it just seems like there is absolutely no time to blog. But again I will try to do this more often....I say try because can't promise!
So I am going to bullet-point the important things that have happened since I last posted. Here goes:
1. I am done with GS Cookies and hopefully will never have to be in charge again EVER!! This would be my third year but we added an additional 13 girls to our troop and life was a nightmere because with these new girls came their moms who I would have to say as nicely as possible are an interesting lot of people. I had to bite my tongue quite a bit through all of this but I think what ticked me off the most was how they treated my husband with questions and complaints and sometimes nastiness. He was not in charge of cookies - I was so anything that needed to be said should have been to me and not him. Of course, it ticked him off too and he would put them in their place - so I guess that I won't be going to many "girls night out" but it's ok they are not worth it!
2. I am done with the Digital Elite team at DSP and I am very happy. I choose not to go into details about the whys/whats/whens because I know I did a good job - a very good job! But I am happy that I am done.
3. I decided to try out for Lynn Grieveson's team and guess what? I made it....along with a lot of other girls - all excited to be doing this. I recognize some of the team mates and hope to get to know the rest. But I do have to say this - they are a chatty friendly bunch - my email box was filled with messages to the group. :) Nice feeling to know you share the same love of digital scrapbooking with others.
4. There have been times in my life when I have decided to try things and really didn't know what to expect. But when you find out how wonderful the results are you are in heaven - that is the way I feel about The Digichick. The site is small but the people are real - I mean really real.....I have heard real life stories from the girls, heard them tell of the struggles they may encounter, seen girls rally around each other to make the site/designers shine and you know what - no one does this because they "want" something from Laura A. I really believe they just want the site to be a home for digiscrappers - free from the turmoil that you often see at other boards. Seems perfect that the site's motto is at the end of the day, we all just want to be chicks...... I know I am glad to be a part of the site.

TDC is truly the best digi site out there! I am so happy to have met you there! Anyway, just had to leave you a comment to let you know I can relate to your cookie pain! I have been doing it 5 years and every year I say never again and then I do! LOL At least I am only in charge of 1 troop now instead of the whole town! Congrats on the new CT gig! You SO deserve it!!!!!!!!
